There are seven distilleries, plus one maltings on Islay. Can you identify them all from the following eight pictures?
Some are easy (like number 1!), some are trickier. But it's only a bit of fun. Some might claim it's only an excuse for me to gather some of my Islay holiday snaps together!
There may be a slight clue in the picture, here!
We tasted the output from here, more than once. If you like Islay whiskies, I'll bet you have too.
I won't tell you how much money I spent here (it was a lot!). Shall we just say that I was very pleased to see the distillery running again, and to "make the cut" for the new batch.
This distillery, malting at just 5ppm phenols, is the lightest on the island.
This claims to have the best view from the stillhouse (it certainly has the largest windows!)
